SANCTUARY (I AM HOME)
At the core of every human heart is a deep longing to be seen, known, and loved. But so often, we find ourselves caught up in comparison, confusion, lies, and the constant pressure to perform. "Sanctuary (I Am Home)" was written as an invitation to rest in the heart of God — a place of refuge, safety and belonging. A place where we are truly home and truly free.
Lyrics:
-
Verse:
You are my refuge and shelter
You are my King and Good Shepherd
Lord, I am safe in Your arms
I don’t have to perform
Cause You love me as I am
Pre-Chorus:
You are my sanctuary
I fall in Your arms
And rest in Your heart
Chorus:
I am seen
I am known
I am loved
And I am home (Repeat)
Verse:
You are the rock which I stand on
You are the strength I depend on
There’s not a day that I won’t seek Your face
Just to stay in Your presence, oh God
Pre-Chorus:
You are my sanctuary
I fall in Your arms
And rest in Your heart
Chorus:
I am seen
I am known
I am loved
And I am home (Repeat)
Bridge:
One day in Your house is better than a thousand elsewhere
One day in Your house is better than a thousand elsewhere
One day in Your house is better than a thousand elsewhere
One day in Your house is better than a thousand elsewhere
Chorus:
I am seen
I am known
I am loved
And I am home (Repeat)
I have joy
I have peace
I have all I’ll ever need
I have joy
I have peace
This is where I’m meant to be
Ending:
I am seen
And I am known
And I am loved
Oh I am home (Repeat)
Oh I am home
And I'm loved
